2012 has started and being full of goals and ideas I've just created my first new product of the year. It's going to be the start of a series of counting games. These games will use kids favorite food to help them learn to count. First off is the old classic of macaroni and cheese. In this game kids will count out all of the ingredients they need by placing them on the counter. There will be two types of counting boards that they will be able to use. This one will help students with there number recognition skills. This one can be used for students who already recognize numbers but skill need practice counting. There are five different recipe cards that you kids can use to practice counting. I've also included the links to the actual recipes. For those of you who homeschool this will be a great way to help you kids make real life math connections. For teachers - you can always send the recipes home.
