The hundred chart is a great way for first graders to build up their number sense.  I created 100 chart madness as a fun way for students to practice finding numbers on the hundred chart.  

Game Directions

Shuffle the cards.  Players take turns drawing a card and placing it on the game board.  When a card is drawn that cannot be placed, (because it would overlap with another card) then the other player gets to collect the cards on the board.  The person who collects the most cards at the end of the game wins.

Here is a new addition game for 1st grade students to practice their addition facts with sums of 10-15.  

Directions:  
This is a 2 to 3 player game. Players take turns drawing cards.  They solve the problem on the card and move their piece to the first space with the correct sum. The first person to get to the end wins.  If they land on a leaf with an ant holding it the player gets to go again.

There are two versions of the game, a color version and a black and white version.

I've got another first grade math game for you.  This time its Apple Tree Addition.  This games allows your first grader's (or any kid who needs more practice), to work on mastery of addition facts with sums of 10-20.   If you like this game you might also want to try the Very Hungry Mouse game.

The Very Hungry mouse is a first grade math game that I made a few weeks ago to let kids practice the addition facts with sums of 2-12.  

To play this math game, players take turns drawing an addition facts card.  

They then cover the sum with a counter.

The player who covers the most apples by the end of the game wins!

Oh, and did you notice that the websites address has changes.  Before it was kayleeseducationstudio.weebly.com  but I've now got my own domain at kayedstudio.com.  I thought new years was the perfect time to make a change and start off at a new location.  

If you click on a link to one of my pages you'll be redirected to the new page. The only problem I have with the change is Pinterest.  Now whenever someone clicks on a Pin that links to my old website, because the page is being redirected, they go to this page.  

Has anyone else out their had this problem and been able to solve it?  I really don't want people to start thinking that my page is spammy.
