- Writing the steps to complete the goal
- Choosing a deadline for the goal
and by asking themselves:
- Is my goal measurable?
- Is my goal too easy?

I've uploaded a new Facebook fan freebie for the week. If you'd like to see what it is you can go to my Facebook Fan Freebie page. Hint: It has to do with first grade math.
There have also been some great texts sets posted to text set library this week.
If you would like to include one of your text sets to the site just visit the submit you text set page and fill out the form.
The best part is that the price per notebook is only $4.20. So you can get a whole set for your classroom without taking too much out of your pockets. The next few weeks I'm going to be making a series of posts about reader's notebooks.
Today I'm going to be focusing on reading logs.
This is the reading log that is included in the reader's notebook. It's nothing fancy, but it is designed to increase students motivation to read. How you say? Instead of writing down the books that they have read they need to write down the books they want to read. This will help them plan out what they want to read next and build their anticipation for the next book.
If you would like to download this reading log and all of the other pages from my reader's notebook you can my clicking on the link below.
You can also find many other great reading logs on my reading logs page.
I've got a new Facebook Fan Freebies Page. I'm going to try and put a different freebie each week. You will have to like the page to get to the freebie.
Finally, the website is now able to have reviews of my products. So if you've bought anything from my shop, please go back to the shop and leave a review.
